It’s ISPI’s flagship initiative, offering UK Ofqual-regulated safeguarding certification courses, adapted to fit The Bahamas’ cultural and legal context.
Teachers, youth leaders, parents, clergy, social workers, coaches, and anyone working with or around young people.
Yes. Courses align with UK safeguarding standards and offer professional certifications.
There is no prior experience needed for introduction and intermediate level courses. The advanced level requires completion of the intermediate course.
Introduction: $75
Intermediate: $150
Advanced: $200
Note: A $50 fee applies for independent study options if course requirements aren’t met during scheduled sessions.
ISPI offers three progressive levels:
Introduction to Safeguarding (for general awareness)
Intermediate Safeguarding (for frontline professionals)
Advanced Safeguarding (for Designated Safeguarding Leads)
You’ll need:
A clean police record
An endorsement letter from a recognized organization
Full payment must be made before the course begins via bank deposit only (either inperson or electronically).
No refunds are issued after the course’s first session
Both formats are available. The specific mode is noted in the course’s promotional material and acceptance email.

Yes! Each course awards an official certificate upon successful completion.
You may request independent study, which includes self-paced review of materials and an instructor interview.
Within 7 days after course completion. One copy is provided free; reprints cost $10.
