ACCEPTANCE INTO A PROGRAM

Acceptance into any of the Safeguarding training courses requires a letter of endorsement from a recognized organization and a clean police record.

PAYMENT

Payment is required in full prior to the start of the course. Payments are accepted by bank deposits only (either physically through the bank or electronically).

No refunds will be given after the commencement of the course. This is as of the start of the first session.

DELIVERY FORMAT

Courses are delivered in person and virtual. Whether a course is virtual or in person will be noted in the course advertisement and communicated in the participant’s acceptance email.

Course information will be presented verbally and with the use of visual media. Persons with hearing or visual impairments must advise ISPI of this at the time of their registration.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION

Successful completion will be based upon 100% attendance, participation and completion of all required coursework.

Persons who do not successfully complete the requirements during the normal course-time may request completion by independent-study.

Independent study allows individuals to review course materials, self-paced, and complete an interview with the course instructor. Note: this option is only available for unsuccessful participants. A fee of $50 is applicable.

CERTIFICATES

Certificates will be awarded to all who successfully complete the course. Certificates will be printed and available for collection within 7 days after completion of the course. Only one copy will be issued per person. Reprints or additional copies are available at a cost of $10.
